Cabbage Weckel - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. butter
1 c. chopped onion
1 medium head cabbage, cut thin or chopped
2 Tbsp. sugar
2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 bag noodles (1 lb. or so)
Preparation

In skillet or Dutch oven-type pan, cook butter and onion until tender on low heat so it doesn't burn.
Add cabbage, sugar, salt, pepper and vinegar.
Cover and cook until done on low heat so it doesn't burn.
In water, cook noodles until done.
Drain and add to cabbage mixture and serve.
(Cook noodles while cabbage mixture is cooking so both will be ready at same time.)
