Half And Half Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    1 1/2 c. cake flour
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. milk
    5 large eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs and beat well.
    Add flour, milk, lemon juice and vanilla; beat thoroughly.
    Bake in greased tube pan at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/4 hours.
