Vodka Cream Sauce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    olive oil
    1 large can crushed tomatoes
    1 clove garlic
    1 bay leaf
    1/4 tsp. red pepper
    3 Tbsp. vodka
    1 c. heavy cream
    penne pasta
Preparation
    Heat olive oil in saucepan; add garlic; fry well.
    Add tomatoes and cook for 20 minutes.
    Add red pepper flakes.
    Add bay leaf and vodka and mix well.
    Cook 5 minutes, then add heavy cream and mix well, stirring until all blended.
    Cook 5 more minutes, then lower heat.
    Let cook over low heat about 20 minutes, then pour over penne and serve.
