Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1 1/2 c. applesauce
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter; gradually add sugar, creaming until light.
    Add eggs, beating well after each.
    Sift together dry ingredients.
    Add alternately to creamed mixture with applesauce.
    Stir in raisins and nuts.
    Turn batter into greased, lightly floured 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes; cool in pan.
    Frost with caramel frosting.
