Bourbon Barbecued Ribs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. ketchup
1/3 c. bourbon
1/4 c. molasses
2 Tbsp. vinegar
1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. dry mustard
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
hot pepper sauce to taste
4 1/2 lb. fresh pork spareribs, cut into serving pieces
Preparation

Mix all ingredients except spareribs; let stand at room temperature for 1 1/2 hours.
Place spareribs, meaty side up, on rack in shallow roasting pan.
Roast uncovered in 325\u00b0 oven 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
Brush sauce over ribs.
Roast, turning and brushing frequently with sauce, until ribs are done, about 45 minutes longer.
Heat remaining sauce to boiling, stirring occasionally. Serve with ribs.
Yield:
6 servings.
