Mango Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. flour (measure after sifting)
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    2 large eggs
    3/4 c. sugar
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice, sprinkled over mangoes
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 c. diced, ripe mangoes
    1/2 c. chopped nuts, walnuts or pecans
Preparation
    Sift together flour, soda, baking powder and salt.
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Add beaten eggs.
    Add flour mixture alternately with the juicy mangoes.
    Fold in chopped nuts.
    Bake 1 hour in greased loaf pan at 375\u00b0.
