Divinity Candy - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    3/4 c. white syrup
    3/4 c. water
    3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Boil sugar, syrup and water until mixture dropped in cold water turns brittle.
    Pour slowly over stiffly beaten egg whites. Add nuts and flavoring.
    Beat until mixture begins to get stiff. Drop with teaspoon on waxed paper.
