3 Hour Oven Stew - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 lb. stew meat or cut up round steak, in bite size pieces
2 cans cream of celery soup, undiluted
1 (29 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 large onion, cut up
1 lb. fresh carrots, cut into 1 1/2-inch pieces
cubed potatoes (as many as desired)
1 box frozen peas and/or green beans
Preparation

Place prepared meat and vegetables in a large roasting pan with a tight fitting lid.
Stir to coat with the celery soup and tomato sauce; no other seasoning is required.
Place lid on and bake in oven at 325\u00b0 for 3 hours.
No need to peek until the last 20 minutes or so to add the frozen peas or beans.
Everything goes into the pan raw, including the meat!
Makes 8 to 10 servings.
