Pie Crusts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 egg
1/2 c. cold water
3 c. self-rising flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. shortening
1 Tbsp. vinegar
Preparation

Mix together egg and water; add vinegar and lard.
To this add rest of ingredients.
Mix until a smooth dough is formed.
Makes 5 crusts.
Freeze or refrigerate until needed.
Bake at 450\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
When ready to use, thaw and line crust with white of an egg.
This keeps it from leaking.
