Italian Coconut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
5 egg yolks
2 sticks butter
2 c. flour
1 tsp. soda
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. coconut
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla
5 egg whites, beaten
Preparation

Cream sugar, egg yolks and butter together, then add to flour, soda, buttermilk, coconut, pecans and vanilla mixture.
Fold in 5 egg whites.
Grease and flour 3 cake pans and bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
