Baked Salmon Filets With Fennel And Lemon - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 salmon filets, 1/2 lb each
1 large fennel bulb
1/2 lemon sliced thin with rind
several sweet onion rings or sliced leek
1/2 to 3/4 c maple syrup (don't use imitation)
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Rinse salmon and pat dry.
Place in buttered, glass baking dish.
Rinse and slice fennel bulb and place on top of filets. Add lemon slices and onion/leek.
Lightly salt and pepper.
Pour maple syrup over both filets.
Bake in 350 degree oven approximately 30 minutes.
Test for doneness.
Veggies will be crunchy.
