White Rolls - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 Tbsp. sugar
3 Tbsp. shortening
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk, scalded
1 pkg. yeast
1 egg
1/2 c. warm water
3 to 4 c. flour
Preparation

Place sugar, salt and shortening in a large bowl; add milk. Cool until lukewarm.
Put yeast in lukewarm water.
Add flour to make a batter too stiff to cling to bowl, but not stiff enough to knead.
Cover tightly and let rise in a warm room until double in bulk.
