Chili Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 c. golden brown sugar, firmly packed
2 1/2 c. white vinegar
2 c. chopped onions
2 (1 lb. 12 oz. each) cans tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. white pepper
1 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan.
Mix well.
Bring to a boil.
Simmer 3 hours or until thick and a dark brown color. Seal in sterilized jars.
Makes 4 pints.
