Finest Cherry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    pastry for 2 crust pie
    1 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (1 lb.) can sour cherries
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 c. flour
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
    1 tsp. lemon juice
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Line a 9-inch pan with pastry.
    Sprinkle with one tablespoon flour and one tablespoon sugar.
    Drain cherries, saving juice. Combine sugar, flour and salt.
    Gradually stir in cherry juice. Add almond extract and lemon juice.
    Combine with cherries and pour into pastry-lined pan.
    Dot with butter.
    Put top crust in place.
    Bake for 30 to 35 minutes in 425\u00b0 oven.
