Carrot Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. oil
2 c. flour (plain)
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. soda
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. sugar
4 eggs, well beaten
1 c. chopped nuts
3 c. grated carrots
Preparation

Mix oil and sugar; beat well.
Add eggs and blend.
Sift dry ingredients two or three times and add nuts and dry ingredients. Blend thoroughly with other mixture; add carrots, a small amount at a time, and blend well.
Makes 3 layers.
Cook at 300\u00b0 to 350\u00b0 for 30 minutes for layers, 1 hour for loaf or tube pan.
