Banana Raisin Nut Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/4 c. sifted flour
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. mashed bananas
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. raisins
    1/2 c. walnuts
Preparation
    Sift dry ingredients.
    Add 1/2 cup bananas, shortening and eggs.
    Beat 2 minutes.
    Add remaining bananas and vanilla.
    Beat 1minute; fold in raisins and nuts.
    Pour into an 8-inch loaf pan. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 1/2 hour or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted near middle.
