Make Ahead Baked Beans - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. chopped onions
    6 slices bacon, cut fine
    3/4 c. barbecue sauce
    1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
    2 Tbsp. mustard
    3 (1 lb.) cans pork and beans
Preparation
    Fry bacon.
    Saute onions in grease.
    Stir in barbecue sauce, sugar and mustard.
    Bring to a boil.
    Beans may be added at this point or sauce may be refrigerated or frozen and beans added when needed.
