Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. self-rising flour, sifted several times
2 c. sugar
1 stick butter or margarine
1 1/2 c. milk
2 (15 oz.) cans peach pie filling
Preparation

Put the stick of butter in a pan in cold oven.
Then, turn oven on to 350\u00b0 and melt butter.
Mix 1 cup of milk with dry ingredients.
Add the 1/2 cup milk and mix.
Pour batter over the melted butter.
Spoon pie filling (any kid of fruit pie filling; your choice) on top of batter.
The batter will rise and surround the fruit.
Bake 35 minutes.
To test for doneness, pat on corners and the middle.
If the jiggle is the same, it is done.
