Peppar Kakor(Swedish Ginger Cookie) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 1/2 c. flour
1 Tbsp. ginger
2 tsp. cinnamon
2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. cardamon
2 tsp. grated orange rind
1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
1/2 c. molasses
1 c. almonds, chopped fine
Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar; add egg and molasses.
Blend in dry ingredients; mix thoroughly.
Place dough on waxed paper into 1 1/2-inch rolls.
Chill well.
Cut into 1/8-inch slices and place on ungreased sheet.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
