Candy Nuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1/2 c. orange juice concentrate
6 c. walnuts
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. grated orange peel
1 tsp. nutmeg

Preparation

Cook to soft ball stage the sugar, orange juice concentrate and water.
Remove from heat.
Heat the orange peel, nutmeg and walnuts; stir until cloudy and hard.
Dump onto wax paper and separate.
