Meringue Teasers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 egg whites, slightly beaten
    2/3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. vanilla
    pinch of salt
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Beat egg whites in a bowl until foamy.
    Gradually beat in sugar until stiff peaks form.
    Add vanilla and salt.
    Stir in chocolate chips and nuts.
    Drop by teaspoons into foil covered cookie sheets.
    Place in 350\u00b0 oven, then turn the oven off.
    Do not open oven for at least six hours or overnight.
