Stuffed Green Peppers And Spanish Rice - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. ground sirloin
    6 medium green peppers
    1 1/2 c. rice, uncooked
    1 egg
    1/2 onion, chopped
    1 large carrot, chopped
    1 large can tomatoes, chopped
    1 tsp. paprika
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Parboil green peppers; remove and keep water.
    Mix together ground sirloin, 1/2 cup rice (uncooked), egg, salt and pepper. Stuff in peppers.
    While stuffing peppers, have cooking in the water the following:
    onion, carrot, tomatoes, salt, pepper and paprika.
    After this has been cooking about 15 minutes, add peppers.
    Cover with water if needed and cook 40 minutes.
    Add the remaining 1 cup rice and cook 20 minutes.
