Beer Cheese Dip - cooking recipe

1 2 lbs. block velveeta cheese
1 onion
1/2 stick butter
1/2 teaspoon tabasco sauce
1 can flat beer
salt, pepper, and garlic to taste
Preparation

Cook onion in butter until tender. Add cubed cheese and melt it. Add tabasco, salt, pepper, and garlic. Then add beer for consistency.
