Black Walnut Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    1 c. margarine
    3 c. sugar
    1 c. milk
    3 1/2 c. plain flour
    4 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. butter flavoring (optional)
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 c. chopped black walnuts
Preparation
    Cream butter, Crisco and sugar.
    Add eggs.
    Sift flour, salt and
    baking powder together.
    Add alternately with milk. Add flavoring,\tthen nuts.
    Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    (If pecans are
    used
    in
    place
    of walnuts, use 2 teaspoons black walnut flavoring.)
