Easy Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    2/3 c. Pet evaporated skimmed milk
    12 regular marshmallows
    1/2 c. margarine
    dash of salt
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
    1 c. chopped pecans
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix the first 5 ingredients in a heavy 2-quart saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat to a boil (mixture will be bubbly all over top).
    Boil and stir for 5 minutes more. Take off heat.
    Add chocolate chips and stir until completely melted.
    Add vanilla and nuts and stir well.
    Spread in buttered 8-inch square pan.
    Cool.
    Cut into 30 pieces.
