Strawberry Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) baked pie shell
    1 pkg. vanilla pudding mix
    1 pt. strawberries
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/3 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Prepare pudding mix as directed on package.
    Cool slightly. Pour into baked pie shell; chill.
    Wash and hull strawberries. Simmer 1 cup strawberries, 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water for 15 minutes.
    Mix the remaining water with cornstarch; add to cooked strawberries.
    Cook until thick; cool.
    Add the uncooked berries. Spoon over pudding in pie shell.
