"Heavenly" French Toast - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 loaf French bread
    1/2 c. sugar
    4 c. milk
    1 stick (1/4 lb.) butter
    3 eggs
    powdered sugar and cinnamon
Preparation
    Melt butter; pour 1/2 amount in baking dish that was sprayed with Pam.
    Beat eggs; combine with milk and sugar.
    Cut bread into 2-inch slices; dip in milk and egg mixture and place in baking dish.
    Pour remaining milk and eggs on top of bread to completely soak.
    Pour rest of butter on top.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 until golden brown; turn once if necessary.
    Remove from oven and sprinkle heavily with powdered sugar, sparingly with cinnamon.
