Peach Cobbler - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. butter
    1 egg
    1/4 c. milk
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 (1 lb.) can sliced peaches, drained, or 2 to 3 c. sliced fresh peaches, sugared to taste
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Combine dry ingredients.
    Cut in butter, then add liquids.
    Mix until just moistened.
    Spread peaches in 8 x 8-inch pan.
    Cover with dough.
    Bake for 15 to 18 minutes.
