Cranberry Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter or margarine
    1/2 c. finely chopped or ground fresh cranberries
    1/2 c. cream (this can be evaporated milk or half and half)
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. vanilla chips
    1 c. Marshmallow Creme
    2/3 c. chopped pecans
Preparation
    Combine sugar, margarine, cranberries and cream in a heavy saucepan.
    Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to medium.
    Cook for four minutes, stirring constantly.
    Stir in vanilla chips and melt, which should be about one minute longer.
    Remove from heat and stir in Marshmallow Creme and pecans.
    Pour onto a well buttered 8 or 9-inch square pan.
    Cool at room temperature, then refrigerate.
