Nutmeg Feather Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. margarine
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    3 beaten eggs
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. shortening
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. buttermilk
    2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream 1/4 cup margarine and 1/4 cup shortening with sugar.
    Add vanilla.
    Add eggs one at a time.
    Add alternately with 1 cup buttermilk, 2 cups flour, nutmeg, soda, baking powder and salt. Pour into greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan or 2 (9-inch) cake pans. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
