Chili-Beer Brisket - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (3 to 5 lb.) beef brisket
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
3 onions, sliced
4 stalks celery, chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 (12 oz.) bottle Heinz chili sauce
1/2 c. water (use to rinse bottle of chili sauce)
1 can beer
Preparation

Place meat in a roasting pan, fat side up. Put the chopped vegetables over the meat; pour the chili sauce and water over all. Cover and bake at 325\u00b0 for 3 or 3 1/2 hours. Let cool 20 minutes. Slice thin and pour the beer over the brisket. Place back in the oven for 1 hour.
