Never Fail Meringue - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    dash of salt
    1/2 c. water
    3 egg whites
Preparation
    Cook the first 4 ingredients until clear. Cool slightly.
    Beat the egg whites until frothy. Continue beating while slowly pouring cooked mixture in.
    Beat 5 minutes. Cover cooled pie, sealing edges to crust. Bake at 450\u00b0 for 5 to 7 minutes.
