Lemon Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. margarine
2/3 c. Fruit Sweet
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. lemon juice
1/4 c. nonfat yogurt
1 large lemon (grate peel, remove white and finely chop pulp)
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. wheat germ
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Cream margarine and Fruit Sweet.
Add egg and vanilla.
Blend in lemon juice and yogurt.
Stir in lemon peel and chopped pulp. In separate bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt, baking soda and wheat germ.
Add to batter.
Stir in nuts.
Pour batter into 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan which has been sprayed with nonstick coating.
Bake 45 to 50 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Makes 16 slices.
