Ingredients

1 1/2 c. applesauce, sweetened*
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 c. flour
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. soda, dissolved in applesauce
1 c. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts
