Crisco Fried Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/3 c. flour
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. paprika
    1/4 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 (5.3 oz.) can evaporated milk
    2 1/2 to 3 lb. broiler-fryer chicken, cut up
    1/4 c. Crisco oil
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt, paprika, garlic powder and pepper in a large plastic bag; set aside.
    Pour evaporated milk in bowl.
    Dip chicken pieces in evaporated milk.
    Add a few pieces chicken to bag.
    Shake to coat.
    Remove chicken from
    bag.
    Repeat with remaining chicken.
    Heat Crisco oil in a large skillet.
    Add chicken; brown over medium-high heat.
    Cook over moderate heat about 25 minutes or until meat near bone is no longer pink and juices run clear, turning pieces over frequently.
