Butterscotch Pecan Slices - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 Tbsp. butter or oleo, softened
    1 egg
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. pecans, finely chopped
Preparation
    In mixing bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar.
    Beat in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder and salt.
    Gradually add to the creamed mixture.
    Stir in nuts.
    Shape into two 7-inch rolls and wrap in plastic wrap.
    Refrigerate for 2 hours or until firm.
    Unwrap and cut in 1/4-inch slices.
    Place 2-inches apart on ungreased baking sheets.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
