Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small boxes strawberry jello
    1 c. pecans, chopped
    1/2 pt. sour cream
    1 c. boiling water
    2 (10 oz.) boxes frozen strawberries, cut up
    2 bananas (optional)
Preparation
    Dissolve jello in boiling water.
    Add strawberries, bananas and pecans.
    Pour 1/2 mixture into dish and gel.
    Put sour cream on top after it gels.
    Pour other 1/2 of mixture on top of sour cream; let gel.
