Green Beans And Carrots Amandine - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 lb. carrots
    3/4 lb. green or wax beans
    1 chicken flavor bouillon envelope
    3 Tbsp. sliced almonds
    2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation
    Cut each carrot lengthwise into quarters.
    In 12 x 8-inch baking dish, cook carrots, beans, bouillon and 1/4 cup water, covered, on High 12 to 14 minutes in microwave until vegetables are tender-crisp, stirring twice.
    In 1-cup glass measure, cook almonds and butter on High 2 1/2 to 4 minutes until almonds are lightly browned, stirring once.
    Toss vegetables and their liquid with almond butter and lemon juice.
    Serves 4, about 140 calories per serving.
