Holiday Gingersnaps(Makes About 30 Cookies) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 sticks butter
    1/4 c. packed brown sugar
    1/4 c. granulated sugar
    2 tsp. ground ginger
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    3/4 c. molasses
    3 1/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Cream together butter, sugars, spices and salt.
    Add egg and mix thoroughly.
    Add molasses and blend.
    Sift together twice: flour, baking soda and baking powder.
    Add to molasses mixture and stir until blended.
    Chill well.
