Oat Bran Muffins - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 1/4 c. oat bran cereal
1/4 c. chopped nuts
1/4 c. raisins and dates
1 Tbsp. baking powder
1 1/4 c. skim milk
1/4 c. brown sugar or 1/4 c. honey
2 egg whites
2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
Preparation

Preheat oven to 425\u00b0.
Combine cereal, nuts, raisins and baking powder.
Stir in sugar.
Mix milk, egg whites and oil together.
Blend with oat bran mixture.
Line muffins with paper baking cups.
Fill with batter and bake 15 to 17 minutes.
Test for doneness with a toothpick.
The toothpick should be moist, not wet.
Store in plastic bags to keep moist.
