Peanut Butter Fudge - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 1/2 c. sugar
    1 can evaporated milk
    1/2 lb. butter
    1 jar marshmallow cream
    3 heaping tsp. creamy peanut butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped pecans (optional)
    dash of salt
Preparation
    Combine sugar, milk, butter and salt in heavy pan.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until it forms a firm ball in cold water.
    Remove from heat.
    Add marshmallow cream, peanut butter, vanilla and nuts.
    Beat until smooth and thick.
    Pour into buttered pan.
    Cool completely.
