No Toss Salad - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large head lettuce, cut into small pieces
1/4 c. finely chopped green onion
1/4 c. chopped celery
1 can water chestnuts, chopped
1 pkg. frozen peas (not thawed)
2 c. top quality mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. sugar
3/4 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
3 to 4 hard-cooked eggs
3 toamtoes, chopped
grated Romano cheese
Preparation

Place lettuce in 9 x 13-inch dish.
Sprinkle next 3 ingredients in layers on top of lettuce.
Break peas apart and sprinkle on top while frozen.
Spread mayonnaise on top of peas and sprinkle with sugar.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate overnight.
Before serving, add layers of bacon, eggs and tomatoes.
Sprinkle generously with cheese.
Do not toss.
Cut into squares.
