Devil'S Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 Tbsp. butter
1/4 c. sour milk
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. flour
2 Tbsp. cocoa
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. boiling water
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix sugar, egg and butter until creamy; add sour milk and soda and stir well.
Add flour, cocoa and baking powder; mix well.
Add boiling water and vanilla.
Put in 8 x 8-inch pan.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes or test with toothpick.
