Circus Peanuts (Candy) Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    18 circus peanuts
    8 oz. Cool Whip
    1 small box orange Jell-O
    1 1/2 c. cold water
    1 small can pineapple, well drained
Preparation
    Cut peanuts into small pieces and add 1 cup cold water. Sprinkle dry Jell-O into peanuts and water.
    Cook until peanuts melt.
    Remove from heat.
    Add 1/2 cup cold water and chill until thick (freeze).
    Add pineapple and Cool Whip.
    Sprinkle crushed nuts on top.
