Apple Dumplings - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. lard
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
Preparation

Mix flour, salt, sugar and baking powder.
Blend in lard.
Add beaten egg and lemon juice.
Add enough water to make dough.
Roll between wax paper.
Cut dough into squares big enough to cover an apple.
