Layered Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 head lettuce, chopped
    1 c. diced celery
    1/2 c. diced green peppers
    6 sliced hard-boiled eggs
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 pkg. frozen peas, thawed
    8 to 10 slices bacon, crumbled
    2 c. Miracle Whip
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    In a 13 x 9 x 2-inch casserole, layer lettuce, celery, peppers, eggs, onion, peas and bacon.
    Mix salad dressing with sugar.
    Spread on top
    of layers.
    Seal edges.
    Sprinkle with Cheddar cheese.
    Refrigerate until ready to serve.
    Serves 8 to 10.
