Savory Potato Gratin(4 Servings) - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 to 5 medium potatoes, peeled and sliced
3 to 4 medium onions, peeled and sliced
2 Tbsp. butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp. salt
dash of black pepper
dash of nutmeg
1 tsp. dried thyme leaves
3 Tbsp. chopped parsley
1/2 c. whipping cream
Preparation

Saute onions in butter in a large skillet until soft and transparent.
In a shallow baking dish, arrange in layers the sliced onions and potatoes, sprinkling with garlic and seasonings in between layers for best flavor.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 40 minutes.
Add whipping cream all over top.
Increase temperature to 400\u00b0.
Bake for another 10 to 20 minutes until potatoes are soft and fork-tender and gratin is slightly browned on top.
