Buttermilk Puffs - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. soda
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. salt
3/4 c. buttermilk
1/4 c. cooking oil
1 egg
Preparation

Sift together flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, nutmeg and salt.
With a fork, stir in buttermilk, cooking oil and egg. Beat until smooth.
Drop by teaspoons into hot fat at 375\u00b0.
Too large puffs will not cook through.
Drain on paper towels.
Roll warm rolls in 4x sugar that has been sifted.
