Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 to 8 apples
    2 c. flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 c. butter
    1 egg
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    2/3 c. milk
Preparation
    Sift flour, baking powder, salt and sugar together 3 times. Cream butter and add well beaten egg.
    Add milk and mix all together.
    Spread in a pan, about 3/8-inch thick.
    Cover with apples (peeled, cored and sliced).
    Lay in rows, overlapping each other.
    Dot with butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar. Bake about 30 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
    Serve while still warm.
