Pecan Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. white syrup
1/8 tsp. salt
2 c. pecans
1 tsp. oleo
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Grease 2 qt. glass measuring bowl, cook sugar, syrup and salt on high in microwave 2-3 minutes (until boiling). Cook 4 minutes more, stir in nuts, oleo and vanilla. cook 2 minutes. Immediately stir in baking soda until light and foamy. Quickly pour onto greased cookie sheet, spread with spoon. Cool, break into pieces.
